Burnside Carbine

I have a question regarding a Burnside Carbine that I have been given. I know it was purchased in Dutchess County NY, the serial # is 5707, on the but-stock it has what appears to have been a C or a crescent moon, with a small arrow pointing up and a small U directly under the arrow. then there is a large W., next to that there is a B 3 K, any ideas anyone?

No, the 2 different entries only indicate that it showed up in 2 different reports, not that it was handed back in and reissued. (Not that that couldn't have been the case, it just wasn't necessarily the case.)
