Please help identify this double barrel shotgun

Hey guys,

Picked this up at auction, and can't find info on line. Looks like manufacturer was GD & Co out of Cincinnati, and has some nice engraving. It's a 12 Gauge with 14.5" length of pull. Would appreciate any info on the company and the shotgun. I have not pulled it apart yet, just took some pics in as received condition.

It is an 1850s shotgun, likely imported to the USA, possible Civil War use by southerners in the Trans-Mississippi, but tacks indicate later Indian ownership.

Apparently not an import, one lockplate is stamped G. Goulcher. According to multiple sources, he was a gun parts maker in New York, New York, who made parts used by multiple gunsmiths to assemble guns.
