I took a day trip down to the Monroe County History Museum in Monroe Michigan. The museum has many items from the Custer family.

I am standing at The Michigan History Museum waiting to give anyone a tour. I am boored. This is a case I am sending at. I kind of like the 5th Michigan Cavalry Guidon. The Headquarters flag is nice as well. I am assuming my smartphone will run this as well.

It's okay, but as someone once observed in a caption of one of his most famous photos, the Boy General had a fair complexion that was as freckled as Howdy Doody's! (He tended to sunburn easily and badly.)

My cousin was a sculptor. He loved historical figures and did many bronzes of the Civil War era plus Custer at the LBH.
