Custer Custer.

My cousin was a sculptor. He loved historical figures and did many bronzes of the Civil War era plus Custer at the LBH.

His Custer reminds me a great deal of one I saw in a museum exhibition called Custer's Last in the 1960's at the Amon Carter Museum of Western Art in Ft. Worth and which had been used as the frontispiece of the book The Custer Myth by W. A. Graham. In that one, Custer is dressed identically, but is falling with his mortal wound, turning as he goes down.
