Sunken Road Questions

That was a general history I typed up while browsing the history given to me at the Antietam National Battlefield Interpretive Center. I seem to have seen something about a 2nd Arkansas but I think it refers to a "2nd battalion"?
Also, my ancestor/relative died at Gettysburg so I have not studied many of the other battles in that theater. I have a book on Hood's Texas Brigade and "They'' Do To Tie To!" on the 3rd Arkansas Regiment. The latter is not exactly a book but a collection of articles about different battles.
I have a book called Duty Bound but have not read it yet.

The other well-studied 8th Ohio account of the Sunken Road comes from Thomas Francis Galway's The Valiant Hours, published from his original journals in 1961. At one point in the 8 pages used to describe this fight, he states "Line after line of the enemy's troops are advancing along the ridge through the corn. They come opposite us and sink out of sight in the sunken lane." (41) He includes a number of details about the regiment's opponents during this fight, but does not describe the officer or the horse from Sawyer's account that are the subject of this thread.
