Spam Cakes

Interesting. My mother-in-law did something similar with oysters, and they turned out OK. I still prefer mine deep-fried.
I'm sure some of our friends from Hawaii would love this recipe.

We ate a lot of spam growing up in the 50's/60's, it was cheap and was good fried with eggs.

Spam was always in the tribe food commodities, only they called it luncheon meat. Elders like me are especially fond of it and will eat it every which way!

My oldest son has a Spam T-Shirt and when he was living in Germany everyone wanted to buy it from him.he sold it for a $100.00 and we shipped hi. Over three more.

What I like to do is take a can of spam and make 8 slices the long way,the toss 4 in a fry pan with a lot of butter and fry them till they just start to get a crust and put the 4 slices between 2 slices of toast and it makes a great breakfast sandwich.

Spam on toasted English muffin is even better.
