14NYSM Private Joined Sep 18, 2021 Jan 21, 2022 #4 The officer's Hardee hat should be worn with full epaulets (not shoulder straps), just as the enlisted Infantry Hardee hat should be worn with shoulder scales. Officer's shoulder straps were part of the undress uniform, as was the cap.
