Good evening everyone, we where told during a meeting at my place of employment that we could wear halloween costumes to work on halloween. Where I work they have tile floors and going by past experiences heel plates and tiles don't mix. Would it be ok to wear black work boots in place of my brogans?

There's nothing more frightening to some as farb, so modern shoes seem perfect for Halloween!

Jest aside, considering the quality of most CW Halloween costume uniforms, I'm sure you'll do fine, even with work boots...

Cover 'em up with duct tape. That's what I do at events where I'll be walking on stone or marble so I don't slip. Covering them with tape is also required for most Civil War-themed balls so as not to damage the wooden floors.
