Good morning everyone, does anyone know where or if there are reprints of period Manuels for infantry drill snd tactics? I'm putting together a field officers desk and would love to have copies out on the desk.

Many sutler's will have Hardee's Infantry Tactics. Look up James Country Sutler or Blockade Runner to start with.

I recently got a copy of the zoauves drill manual from 1863. It's small and light. It is mostly about skirmishing and bayonet fighting. Neat little book

I got one of those about picket duty for about the same price. Blockade Runner I believe.

Poinsette's I believe is on line for print out. I have a Cavalry Tactics print out that covers marching. Its the full pages that you fold in half to get the booklet. I imagine the other branches are covered similarly.

I love that site. Edward R. Hamilton Bookseller is a remainder seller with some pretty deep discounts. But do your research, there might be a reason a book is cheap and a remainder...Caveat emptor. Oh, and shipping is $4.00 - for 1 thing or 60 - one $4.00 fee. My mailperson hates me when they have to deliver 75 lbs of books I bought for $10.27...
