Question on swords

Welcome sir.

You have an interesting assortment of swords. I see an 1860 US Light Cavalry saber or two, an Oddfellows sword and a couple of others that I am not familiar with. Civil War swords and sabers have several different categories that drive value. It is of course hard to determine the value based on pictures but condition, maker, date and history of a edged weapon will determine it usually.

A basic average condition US made 1860 cavalry saber can be worth $ 750-950. It does look like the wire wrapping is missing from your saber so that will drive the cost down some. The Oddfellows sword is worth less maybe $ 300-500. The others I am unsure what they are for sure as to whether they are authentic or reproduction so I will not even venture a guess.

Of course at the end of the day it is what a person is willing to pay that will determine the value.
