Oatmeal Rolls

"One cup of oatmeal, three tablespoons of butter, two cups of water, two-third cups of brown sugar, one tablespoon white sugar, one and one half teaspoons of salt, two packages of yeast, softened in one third cup warm water, four cups of white flour and one cup whole wheat flour.

These rolls are delicious and different type to serve with dinner or have for breakfast.

Cook the first three ingredients and let cool to lukewarm. Add sugar, salt and yeast. Add and knead in flour. Let rise and then form into dinner rolls. Let rise again, and bake 20 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 30.

For oatmeal we like using those Old Fashion Irish Oats.they are better than Quaker Oats.
