This is a real recipe from the bakeries in New York, except it is scaled down to workable amounts of ingredients since in the bakeries they would start with 60lbs. Of cream cheese, a bit much for home use.i am also going to use a crumb crust for the bottom since in the bakeries they would slice layers out of 10" and 6" cakes for the bottom.

25- chocolate wafer cookies crushed
3 tbsp sugar
3 - tbsp melted butter
Combine above ingredients and smooth out on bottom of a 9" spring form pan.

5-8oz. Packages cream cheese softened
1 - cup sugar
3 - tbsp flour
1- vanilla
1 - cup sour cream
3- eggs
Combine all ingredients until smooth and pour into spring foam pan.
Bake at 350° 1hr.5mins. To 1hr.10mins. Till center is firm.
Let cool before removing from pan.refrigerate at least 4hrs, better overnight.....enjoy

P.S. You can melt 8oz.packages Semi-sweet chocolate and swirl into cake before baking if you want to make a marble cheesecake or if you want a chocolate cheesecake mix chocolate in completely in the begining.

Drool!:hungry:

Okay. It's late. I'm hungry. And I'm going to make you all suffer with me.

If you find yourself in Gulf Shores, Alabama, I highly recommend visiting King Neptune's. Yes, yes...they have great food, but they also have this...

That's deep fried cheesecake with pecans and praline sauce and a dusting of powdered sugar.

OMG, that is ... ... ... ... I can't find words!
I would leave out the powdered sugar though, sugar is bad for the waistline ....:roflmao:

When in the States we love to have dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. I have never managed to finish my slice of cheesecake there, not even if I had it instead of dinner, it is simply too much (but oh, so delicious!). But this here beats all!

The Cheesecake Factory used to have a "Jack Daniels" cheesecake that was only sold to adults as it contained a large amount of Jack Black in it, but they took off their menu.my favorite that they make right now is Key Lime- Mango cheesecake.its sort of like a key lime pie cheesecake, Yummmy:smile::dance::frantic::dance:

Aw, we must have missed the Jack Daniels variety, my dear one will extremely regret that, LOL!!
Last time, in Baltimore, I had this one:

Not bad either, hm?
I had to surrender after one half ... although I did not have dinner and we had walked around the whole day! If only I had the other half right now .... it's almost lunchtime here ...
