I think they're on to something. The works under the Lochlainn Seabrook name are probably a mix of his books, his wife's books, and probably some friends - all credited to a single author and self-published under their private imprint (which has a fancy name so it doesn't sound self-published).

You're right on that one. The term Anglo Saxon is no longer used to describe a group of people who inhabited Britain in the early medieval period. What was originally thought to be an invasion and replacement of "Britons" by northern Europeans has been shown through DNA studies to be more of a mixing....and of course the "Britons" of that era were a cosmopolitan group anyways after 300 years or so in the Roman Empire.

Guess we'll have to come up with something to replace WASP.

A lot of his stuff - at least about the Civil War - was written before AI was readily available.

I do notice he has a much better cover designer than most of the other self-published cranks.

The authors who seem to want to cram a dozen images and a paragraph of text onto their front cover remind me of the crazy homeless people who hand out manifestos where they've fill every centimeter of the sheet of paper.

I spent about a year investigating IFOTOS before I found out it was hooey, to my great disappointment. It was of course totally fake.

This Seabrook mystery feels like that: is he real or a prank?
