Infantry Horn buttons

I can't find these so far anywhere and might be a hunt club, academy, or just a novelty button. But are those not 1860s Waterbury backmarks?

it's all going up. I remember buying Albert's book for $35. I haven't even bothered with Tice's because of the price. I grabbed Thillman's sword book for 200 and thought it was a steal. It's funny how you can train your brain to think that's a good deal!!
I don't collect. I buy piles of stuff and flip what I can, so a $300 book for buttons I might not ever find again is a lot.

Had no idea asking for a picture of a page was a problem but I had an issue on another site where someone told me I had X and I priced accordingly on ebay, it sold FAST, then they messaged me saying they were wrong and it was, in fact, Y. So, I have that experience. And what would a 1900 button be doing in a book for buttons no newer than 1865? (and I got three sources saying the marking is Civil War, one from this forum. https://civilwartalk.com/threads/general-service-buttons.208161/)

Can I at least get an ID on the button? Probably not US military. Might be novelty for all I know. Scovill probably made for all kinds of markets.

That's the price of admission to the CW button collecting world. In the long run it will save you a LOT of money.
I don't think the poster is a collector. From what I've seen here and on another forum he buys auction lots, looks for free help in identifying, and sells on Ebay. Nothing wrong with that, but I do prefer helping out fellow collectors who say thanks. May be why it seems people are taking longer to answer his posts.

I say thanks. And on the USMF, I donate. AND when I found that Louisiana artillery button, I posted here with a link to the ebay listing first thing.

And I provide plenty of free help where I can. Okay, it's mostly on USMF but I do what I can.

Didn't say thanks on this post, just asked for more info. But maybe just an oversight in this instance.
I say thanks for a decent answer. An unsupported answer that contradicts other sources and what my eyes are telling me isn't much help. If it's not a Civil War button, fine. But everyone here is perfectly welcome to respond or not respond to anything anybody posts. Who here isn't looking for free information? There's no paywall.
