I'm trying to identify the Captain B?? in the lower right of the below telegram. He was on Bragg's staff in June of '62.

There was a Captain P. H. Thompson on Bragg's staff at that time. Maybe?

Thanks, guys! His service record confirms this is the man I needed.

I hadn't refreshed my page to see Andy's post. I went through telegraph messages and correspondence for an hour until I realized who it was. I have a tough time reading old cursive. He no doubt doesn't have any issue and nailed it off the bat.

I thought you just saw it from the start from the blown up pic. It seemed obvious then but I'd already found it, so that may have made it obvious. As I mentioned before, I took a similar route but ended up at the same place. Regardless you had it before I did. I should have refreshed my page and saved my eyes, lol..
