I have the complete set of his books. Fell on them by accident. A fellow opened up the back of his car when I was walking by.
 
Interestingly his predecessor as governor was Henry D. McDaniel. He was promoted to major after his officers were killed at Gettysburg. Then he was shot then captured and survived point lookout and Johnson island
