Dragoon

This is what most of I have as far as mounted gear that I have acquired minus what passed as a carbine cartridge box, and a second hand holster that I was using as a placeholder for the one shown. The saber is a 1840 light artillery saber reproduction, and the pistol is a 1860 Army reproduction.

Fort Tejon in So Cal does a whole kids program and other events a Dragoons. They have a great barracks set up and some original buildings along with rebuilt ones. They might have info of other Dragoon folks. They've even had camels at the fort. Check it out. Your might get ideas and they know about Dragoons there.
Cheers!
