Dixie Potatoes

This recipe for Dixie Potatoes is from turn of the century.

Peel and slice boiled sweet potatoes, and arrange in baking dish. Cover with brown sugar and bits of butter, and add a sprinkling of cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour in a cup of sweet milk and place in moderate oven, 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
