Didn't he do enough?

I ment to say either Lee or Beureguard. Davis would rather do nothing. Lee didn't want it and Davis disliked Beureguard. So he left Bragg in charge. Bragg quickly took revenge on all the officers involved in the mutiny.

Perhaps if Davis had spent a bit more time thinking about what was good for the war effort, and less about being there for his buddies..... SMH:cautious:
