Lee Derwent

"Derwent" still stands, tucked away quietly in the NW area of Powhatan County near the river.. (two counties west of Richmond) Privately owned. Lee had other family members that were resident in the county nearby. He ended up taking residence there not long after Appomattox... remaining till Sept when he left for his new vocation at Washington College in Lexington Va... The rest of his family came a little later around November...
