NF Buy a Book, Help an Author

Non-Fiction
Eric Wittenberg has contributed greatly over the years to the study of the Civil War as well as battlefield preservation. I can never have enough Civil War books and Savas Beatie has such a great selection of books. Prayers to Eric and his family.
Thank you for those kind words--they're much appreciated.

we're managing, but good grief--enough already!
Indeed! yall have endured "Enough" trial and tribulations. You and Susan have mastered survival mode and it's now time for brighter days ahead. I'm reminded of something Henry Ford said: When everything seems to be going against you, remember that an airplane takes off against the wind. I pray that only GOOD things happen for yall in this new year!

Since I've been tied up all day at work on a project including Zoom meetings, I just saw this thread. It goes without saying that this is a great cause, and thanks also to SB for showing that it's not just a business but also a friend. This just elevates my constant pushing of Contrasts in Command to yet another level. Now it's a "win-win" for the reader.

@Eric Wittenberg I'm so sorry to hear of all you and your wife are having to deal with. I still remember fondly meeting you in 2016 at the CWT doodah in Gettysburg and I have several of you books which I thoroughly enjoyed. I just contributed to the GoFundMe account.

Turns out I had cataract surgery this morning so I'm struggling a bit to do computer work right now.

You seem to have a good attitude and that's a true positive. Just know you aren't alone.

My best to you and yours.

Eric I am saddened to hear of your condition and the tough road you and your family face. I will keep you in my prayers.

I ordered Stay and Fight it Out: The Second Day at Gettysburg, July 2, 1863, Culp's Hill and the North End of the Battlefield (Your order number is 13174) as my GGGrandfather Joseph Piner was in company K (the "Holly Shelter Volunteers"), 3rd Regiment N.C. State Troops and fought at Culp's Hill 161 years ago.
Regards
David
