In browsing the internet today, I came across American Civil War Research Database. It looks interesting, seems to have quite a bit of info:

American Civil War Research Database
... the largest, most in-depth and fully searchable database of
American Civil War soldiers and events.

American Civil War Research Database statistics:
Soldier's records: 4,218,011 (see Database Status)
Civil War regimental rosters: 4,681; Regimental chronicles: 3,839;
Officer profiles: 1,010; Civil War Soldier Photographs: 26,316
Civil War battle synopses: 3,398;

Membership has 2 levels - Level 1 is full membership at $25 per year, and Level 2 is Soldier membership at a lower price. These prices are good and there are many other sites with same/similar info, membership fees, etc.

Is this site worth having access to, in combination with other sites on the same topics?

I've used the site for several years, I believe it's well worth the $25.00. Especially if one is researching a Union soldier. The Union service records are far from being all digitized. This site will usually give you a good condensed version of one's service.
