WTB Enfield Pattern 1853 Brass Barrel Bands

Euroarms(?) used to put brass barrel bands on their pattern 1853 long infantry rifles in their early reproductions.

I would like to purchase a set if anyone has such a set of the beasties please.

Your best bet would be S&S firearms or Lodgewood

Yup S&S or Lodgewood, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I haven't seen any in years.

We all want what we want, but I think the reason they stopped making those brass bands is that none of the original Enfield model 1853s has brass bands, and there was more demand for the more authentic iron bands.
But, just as many fellows are attracted to ...ahem....artificially enhanced romantic partners, we all are attracted to what we are attracted to!
