online to find a potential buyer for a Burnside Carbine? Are there others of you that have sold similar items and if so where did you find the best market for them?

Yikes... are you looking for a quick sale? If so I would suggest places like Lodgewood, S&S. I abhor gunbroker but know others that swear by it.

Honestly, I don't know about the quick sale part but I decided I am willing to part with the piece.

I find that I am not as enamored with it as I thought I would be and it doesn't have the romance to it that say, a Kentucky longarm does (for me) and I am not close to the areas where they enact war scenes...

The place to start would be an asking price and pictures. There might be people here who would consider buying it, but nobody will without a picture or three.

I have a number of shots of it but for some reason I can't get them to load in this section. I had loaded them on this site in another category, I seem to be having trouble with this browser today, had a serious virus issue last night and since then, no luck using it!
