What are these items?

I am working as a docent at the Michigan History Museum. Heavy snow storm has kept most school groups from coming so I am just sitting. So who can idenify these item that are on display? One I am not sure of.

I am tempted to guess a pocket shrine, but most I have seen use a case like the match safe and none have contents wrapped in paper or cloth.

The combo spoon is part of a fork & spoon combo that fit together for compact storage. There were several variations ie one that was built like a pocket knife, another that would slot together when not in use etc.

I haven't seen a candle safe that I can remember. I guess I should go back to those collectors encyclopedias and do some browsing.
