Weber's Brigade was part of the ill-fated assault by French's division on the Sunken Road of Antietam, suffering heavy casualties. This was Weber's only real battle in the war, as he was debilitated from combat, though he did do much to help oppose Early's invasions in 1864. I imagine he'd make a decent division commander, though that's only based on the loosest of evidence. Certainly seems to be one of the better German officers.

His command was actually under William French's 3rd Division, made up of mostly raw troops.
