WBtS Game Archives

I'll be heading out to a rain-storm soaked Gettysburg tomorrow, so Trivia will be posted at about 6:30 or 7am.

Yesterday's Question: Who was the first soldier killed in the Civil War? Pvt. Daniel Hough was killed on April 14, 1861 when a shell exploded during the salute signalling the evacuation of Fort Sumter. I didn't ask for the first soldier killed by enemy fire, nor first soldier killed in combat, simply the first soldier killed in the Civil War.

Here is Today's Question, Worth One Point:

What easy to see feature of the Trostle Barn at Gettysburg is frequently pointed out to visitors of the park?

Expect the next trivia question to be posted tomorrow at about 7am EST. Please post your answers to this question before that time. Thank you!

The cannon ball hole on the brick wall to the left of the diamond designs and just above a section of the roof is the location shown to visitors.

Well Blew that last one.....well try again
It is a cannon ball hole in the upper area below the right hand "Diamond" Still bears the scars of battle.hope you had a good time there this weekend, hopeing to make a return trip myself this July.

The big cannon hole in the front upper part of the barn a little right of the center when you are facing it. It's visible from far enough away. I've seen it several times.

Off to Gettysburg I go! Rain and All!

Yesterday's Question: What easy to see feature of the Trostle Barn at Gettysburg is frequently pointed out to visitors of the park? The hole made by a cannonball in the upper brick wall of the barn. It's not just a scar, it's a hole in the wall.

Here is Today's Question, Worth Two Points:

Here is a tough one, but you can find the answer on the internet if you look hard enough. See you when I return from Gettysburg! Name the Gas Station that was once located across from the Gettysburg peach orchard on Emmitsburg Road.

This is my answer. There was a Stuckey's gas station located across from the Gettysburg Peach Orchard on Emmitsburg Road.

Well this one is hard. Spent the whole day looking and don't know where you found it on the net. We got a stupid snow storm (I am moving south lol)and the power kept going off while I was searching. Frustrating for sure. Could you post the address after this question is done please? Thanks
