Stonewall Stonewall's death

I said that when Booth heard Jackson was killed, he was told that Jackson was shot in the back. That is what Booth believed. I don't believe it, you don't believe it, Booth believed it.
Asia Booth told about John smuggling quinine into the South. Any quick search will give you information about it. You might check on the internet about Booth's service in the Confederate Secret Service. The information is out there, except for the when and where.
This explanation tells who, when, why, and where Booth became involved in the Secret Service. The pieces of information are out there, and I put the pieces together. You may judge how well I did.
Where did you see Booth say this?

I did a "look inside" of Lincoln, Davis, and Booth: Family Secrets for the backstory.

"[W]here Booth took his life"?

No soldier with that name, or anything similar to it, served during the Civil War.

At some point threads like this should not just be locked, but deleted entirely.
It appears that horse left the corral a couple of months ago. This is only the newest of ... well, I've lost count.

How do you know that's what Booth believed? Evidence, please.

Please find this information for us. Just like your "Booth letter," many of us find it suspicious that you don't seem to have any of your "evidence" immediately on hand.

I have no problem believing that booth assisted in smuggling operations. The only source I could locate was asia but i could see something like this being kept quiet on his behalf it would have hurt him being able to travel. Luminaries of all types helped with the war effort how they could. Stonewall the head of the secret service though?

I will say one thing about threads like these, when caught in the right mood it gets me into the mood for reading. That's why I'm becoming a subject matter expert on the Lincoln assassination and I am a subject matter expert on the battle of dam no. 2

@Belfoured In seriousness, that docudrama based on "facts" (so-called) The Lincoln Conspiracy (which TCC undoubtedly uses as a source) depicts an agent under Stanton hiring Booth in a hotel. I haven't read Dark Union (by the movie's consultant/producer) to confirm where he got this. Out of his head, no doubt.

This is getting a bit out of hand. I log on only to see another conspiracy theory. How much more of this can we take! When will this end!

Because he assumes that Booth was stupid. The entire planet knew that Jackson's arm was amputated. Maybe Booth thought Stonewall had the reins in his teeth and his arm behind his back.

Booth was playing the part of "Pescara" from "The Robbers" on May 2nd at the Washington Theater in DC. So he made remarkable time in getting back from Richmond to DC for that night's performance.
No, Booth was not playing Pescara in The Robbers. He played Charles D'Moor. Pescara is in the "Apostate." Congratulations—you got six thumbs up for an inaccurate statement.
If you look back to the first statement on this thread, you will see that I did not say Booth met Davis on May 2. I said that the meeting was scheduled for May 2. I do not know when they met. I only know that it was proposed on May 2. Each party had to agree on the date and time.
