I purchased a book on the internet ("Embattled Confederates", Bell Irvin Wiley) The book arrived just fine and I noticed that it had shipped from somewhere in Georgia. Later on as I was perusing its pages I found this cute little postcard tucked inside. A bit of wishful thinking from a Southerner making a funny on some Yankee in Illinois. Bet he chuckled a little as he sent this darlin' on its way to Illinois.
