No I ain't Kidding.. this is one reason I'm so interested in the CW. His mother was a Beck. My 2nd Great grandmother was a Beck also, they had the same grandfather.

Indeed it would be absurd to suggest otherwise.

If he was indeed impartial, or motivated to look into his works further impartially.............where are the posts mentioning all the sentences he found that were quite factual

About three years ago, when the General and his wife Mary Ann's bodies were moved from their burial site in Memphis and reinterred, our cavalry reenacting group was honored to ride as escort of the hearses carrying their remains. We actually served as pall bearers for the caskets. Was quite a memorable moment.

What an honor for you but a sad day for Memphis. I visited there before the graves were disturbed.

Yes indeed it was/is sad for the once great "gem of the South" Memphis.

Cool picture. I have several photos of the statue that I took just before I retired and got off of the road. It is sad but the new burial site in Columbia looks very nice.
