Sharps Rifle Identification Help

I just pulled some antique guns of my grandfathers out of storage and one is a sharps rifle. I would love to know if it was used in the Civil War. I have done some research on what I think the model is, but I have hit my wall and that's where I found this cool group!
I will attach some pics I took of it yesterday and hopefully gain some insight from the group! Thanks in advance and let me know if you have any questions.

Nice looking old war horse. Its not listed in the SRS. Look and see if there are any cartouche marks ie, inspectors acceptance stamping near the saddle ring.

The "C" means over 100,000 so it's actually 116,047. It's also a Carbine not a Rifle. The Sharps Rifles were longer and today more expensive to buy.

What else you pull out of Grandpa's storage? Plus your pics show 2 screws not correct for the gun. The 2 protruding, one before the "C" and the other in front of the saddle bar sticking out. Or maybe they just need tightening down. Nice look to it shows it's been used and no doubt fired some shots in anger (or fear!). Plus some prior owner long ago carved or stamped his initials in it.

Collectors would identify this as a "New Model 1863" Sharps Carbine.
It would have those words stamped on the top of the barrel, between the rear sight and the frame.
