Hello,
this rifle was sold to me an an Palmetto Sharps, but the seller dont really know it, he got it for selling it from an widow of an colleague.
I researched alot the past days, and don't find much informations.
Experts say that it must be an real Sharps, theres no replica ever made in .52 with all these markings.
Sadly some parts are missing, swivel bar, saddle ring and the orginial rearsight... just have an repro sight on it.
But i think its not an problem, find all parts instead of the sight for small price.
So, any opinion if that really an original, or an very good replica?
It haves alot of markings, small parts have an c, p or r stamped.
Best regards, David
