I just found this stream...I am the caretaker for Col Pyron's gravesite for the MOSB. As I acquire any NEW information on Col. Pyron, i will post it here for any members who may be searching or just interested in who he was before, during and after the war. I am visiting him this weekend and will post an updated picture of his gravesite.

Notice of his death as published in the 1 September 1869 edition of the Galveston Daily News.

Thank you. I found where a street was named after Col. Pyron near the old homestead. The locals " recently" petitioned to have the name changed. I am investigating if the Edited. city government of San Antonio approved it or not.

Can you provide me the source of the photo of Col. Pyron? I have spoken with a descendant who states this picture is not Charles Lynn Pyron. Thanks!
