Hope this is Ok to post. If not please remove! I recently won a silent auction for this print. It is very large and looks to be something that was done for the SUV. Anyone have any additional info?
Opps Edit SCV not SUV.
It was painted Joy Garner and commissioned by the (SCV) Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp 28 to raise funds to place a bust of Forrest in the Tennessee State Capital.

Thank you sir!!!
I think I got it back in there! LOL! Ugh!
Do you know when the prints were made? Where is the original located? The folder it came in does have a bio of Joy Gardner on the back and says it is part of the Historical Prints Army Of Tennessee Series 1. Were there others?

Awesome! Thank you for all that extra info!
I'ma not seeing a signature or any numbering so it must be one of the reprints. I was so curious about the original origin. The lady that donated it to the event said she had made a donation to the NBF boyhood home years ago.

I now have a Civil War corner in my room where I have all my books and flags and things. Since this is pretty large, I am not sure what to do with it though!
