Real or Faux? Possible Confederate sword???

Ran across this one in an antique store. I blocked out the tags but this one is advertised as a captured Confederate sword found in an old GAR hall. I wanted to see what the group thought about this sword.

The pictures are not very good and I apologize for the quality of the photos. I hope you guys can educate me on this sword and I look forward to your responses.

Looks like an E.J. Johnson style short sword. I see nothing wrong with it.

Yes I got it for less than his asking price, but not as low as I was trying. We met in the middle
