I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a meetup weekend in Columbia South Carolina in June?
You ask what does Columbia have to offer
1. South Carolina Civil War Relic Room and Museum
2. South Carolina State capitol with stars on it where it was attacked also the famous Wade Hampton Statue
3. Lots of historical civil war period houses
4. Graves of Generals - (Milledge Bonham, Wade Hampton, Maxcy Gregg, John Smith Preston, States Rights Gist, Ellison Capers etc.)
5. University of South Carolina historical college
6. Guest speakers and CWT Members who would be willing to share information on the Columbia area
This is not a muster or trying to replace a muster only a simple meet up for people who might want to meet up and study the Columbia South Carolina area together. Please only comment if your interested in attending I would like to have a minimum of 9 people interested to pursue this.
