Perryville KY 2021

I am going to visit perryville event this October and I can't find too much information about it.
Does anyone know roughly how many reenactors will be there or any information about it at all?

the more I dig into getting back into the re-enactments it appears that this way of life might be on the way out since not many new blood is coming into the mix.

I haven't done a event in close to 15 years, what are your thoughts?

There's still a lot of reenactors out there and some good events but it takes some traveling around, you may have to venture out of you local area some. The younger guys are getting more into the campaigner events, that end of the hobby is growing. There are fewer of the small local events around and the ones that are still around have taken a hit the last couple seasons with the plague and political correctness stuff going around. Hopefully that all will calm down soon. The good news is the couple local events I've attended in New England had nice crowds of spectators so the interest is still there. We all need to do a better job at recruiting to get some fresh blood in the hobby.
