Usually gentlemanrob has a photo of the person's headstone. Page's happens to be in Rome, and on it is inscribed "Thomas Jefferson Page of Virginia;Captain, U.S.N. and C.S.N.,Explorer, Christian Gentleman".

He saw no combat as commander of the C.S.S. Stonewall, the ship arrived after the close of hostilities. It was turned over to Spanish authorities in Havana.
