Organizing Photos

I have hundreds of Civil War era photos saved to my phone, and I want a way to organize them so that I can access them easier. Any ideas?

Think about dividing into sub-folders. Perhaps...people, places, monuments, farms, locations...

Subfolders + updating the metadata via Properties so that it's sortable. Depending on how you're storing them, you may also be able to apply tags.

Absolute yes to both of the comments above. Figure out a system of division that works for you - by location, date, name etc. Then move photos into their appropriate folders, making sure each photo has a tag on it that tells you what you need to know (source, date, name, etc.). You might want to start with a few broader divisions and then see where you need to get more specific.
