While reading Mark Nesbitt's Ghosts of Gettysburg, I came across an intriguing story that is briefly mentioned at the bottom of page 14 concerning Devil's Den. In it he writes that in Jack McLaughin's Book Gettysburg: The Long Encampment, there is a photo taken by Walter Lane of Devil's Den showing the sloping ground towards Little Round Top that some who viewed the image swore they can see a face wearing a civil war kepi. I believe that is this photo below. Can anyone spot the so-called face?
