Ghosts of Devil's Den

All I know is that I have slept in devils den over night, even in confederate garb and never experienced anything. This last September I slept in the bloody lane and same thing. I own a "witness home" Abnb in Gettysburg and thats a different story, and also my guest. Mark the author I have met a couple times, nice guy.

This is from the FB group - Gettysburg Paranormal but is about Devil's Den.

"So another story I have about Gettysburg . My son and I are up on Devils Den . I had been reading about Hoods division. My son walked up more and he's at the peek. Well this car pulls up I'm by the road . This elderly lady gets out and some others . She looks dead at me and saw me in my Yankee uniform and says you **** Yankee . I'm like what ? I see her face and she's a dead ringer for General Hood . I'm like what is going on ? She starts laughing. Says did I startle you . My great great grandfather was General Hood . She said this is my first trip here . Then my son comes down off the hill white as a sheet . Says dad someone tried to push me off the rocks . I turned and nobody was there . He said dad let's go . I'm telling you almost everytime we were in uniform we experienced something"

I've always been conflicted about all the ghost stories. On the one hand, if someplace is going to be haunted, it seems reasonable that it would be one of the great bloody battlefields. On the other hand, I worked in a site that was purported to be "haunted" for many years, almost exclusively at night and by myself. I patrolled the dark spooky places alone. Never saw a thing (I was the scary thing in the dark). Then the "ghost tv" people showed up—and I saw them do their thing. It's less impressive when you see it up close…
