Some yeast rolls from over 100 years ago. These are so good. Give them a try.

2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter
packet of yeast
1 egg
1 tablespoon sugar

Sift together 2 cups flour and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Work in 1 tablespoon of butter. Set aside. Dissolve yeast packet in 1/3 cup lukewarm water. Combine 1 egg, well beaten, and tablespoon granulated sugar. Add to flour mixture. Gently stir until blended. Shape into rolls and let rise in greased baking pan for 2 1/2 hours until doubled in size. Bake i 425 degrees oven for about 20 minutes.

My wife is making some of her own recipe for the Easter meal after church and a dozen or more Easter egg hunts!
