Assuming we bucket the siege and battle(s) of Corinth with Shiloh- because NPS does....
I will say that the wife was at a softball tournament (Saturday) so I got turned loose in Corinth.... Thanks to Tom Parson for rolling out the files on the magnitude of the siege lines and talking a little engineering; wonderful conversation and learning at the Inteprerive Center that opened the door to a much needed expedition into the lines themselves and segments of the driving tour. For those looking for slugburgers- the place was closed- but we found Buck's Bar/BBQ for grub after the tournament and headed back to Memphis.
Warning- ticks are thick (bug repellent required) AND it is hot (bring water- if you want to live).
