I could use a little help in looking for this man:

James A. Dickinson
b. 1829 (so would have been in his early thirties)
lived in Spalding County, GA

served in Cap't. Scogin's Battery, Griffin Light Artillery
may also have served in Cap't. Ritter's Co. Light Artillery and Cap't. Buist's siege train

I believe this is a man to whom I'm related but am not sure. His record might help sort that out.

Thanks in advance. I do appreciate it.

Thank you sir ! Much obliged.

Looks like he spent the whole war in the hospital. Unfortunately, there's really nothing to identify if this is 'my' guy. I've got one other piece of good circumstantial evidence. Just have to put him down as a maybe.

I do wonder if the one in the siege train is the same man or another James A. Dickinson.

It a James F I'll let you figure it out
