Not that I speak Klingon or anything but I have been told that some Trekkies have written a Klingon dictionary. How does that work I wonder! Are there any Trekkies/Trekers on the forum,
According to Wiki, there is a difference between a Treker and a Trekkie.

I thought Caen was fought on two fronts, Brits and Canadians on one side and Americans on the other, we got absolutely hammered there, mind you it did make it slightly less difficult for the Americans to advance. I guess that Band of Brothers was initially written for an American audience and so with that in mind the American situation would be the focus, its still one of my favourite HBO shows.
At Caen the Canadians ran into the 12th SS PanzerDivision,Hitlerjugend.this division was made up entirly of the kids that grew up in the Hitler youth.their officers were all a bunch of hard noses from the Eastern Front.in there first engagement with the Canadians the HJ destroyed 28 Canada tanks while only sustaining six casualties.that was there shinning moment, they would not surrender because they were trained not.by the time the British and Canadians finally took Caen the 12th SS SUSTAINED 60%casualties.those 17 and 18 year old kids gave the Britt and the Canadians there toughest fight in THE ETO.
That would be a pretty serious one and very devoted, too. But I´m limiting myself to some of the series (TNG, Voyager and DS9 [though I don´t like most of DS9]) while leaving the original series and other stuff aside (excluding the movies of course). I play a few of the games but mostly stay away from the flight simulators. Also don`t read the many books (maybe in retirement); and no further commitment in real life.

I think that Panzer Lehr were also in that area of operations.
The Canadians have a lot to be proud of, I think that in recent years, they were credited with the killing of Michael Wittmann, having said that its still open to speculation, its a bit like who killed Von Richthofen.
wittman was most likely killed by a typhon (raf) - von Richthofen was shot down by canadian infantry - may be a myth but some us staff officer is believed to have said 'just two division one is kids (hitlerjugend) the other is rookies (panzerlehrdivison)'
on a sidenote: von or de in names are as capitalized as the of in Robin Of Loxley, thx
tos - the original series
tas - the animated series
tng - the next generation
ds9 - deep space 9
ent - enterprise
galaxy quest - best parody ever
memory alpha - star trek wiki (the second link)
when you will have learned that by heart we'll procede to evil aliens

I watched a documentary on the Wittman subject and they argued that it was a Typhon but the damage didn't appear consistent with a Typhon rocket attack. I'm confused over the Capitalized bit, should it read Barron Von Richthofen? We wouldn't write Robin Of Loxley, its the same as Prince of Wales.

Okay, I know of Romulans, Vulcans and Spock wasn't really a Vulcan because he was half human, Klingons and some Borg that I had a crush on, I think she was called 7 of 9 or something like that.

I think it's depending over here ... lower case when in conjunction with first names, titles or ranks; capital when on its own. Though our American friends tend to capitalize them when the names are adopted.
you wrote Von Richthofen (#90) and then i mocked it. that V in von is only capitalized if it's the first letter in a sentence ('Von Richthofen shot down a guy ...' vs 'A guy was shot down by von Richthofen ...')
