M1855 Federal Knapsack Patterns Request.

Would anyone happen to have a pattern or know where i can get one for a M1855 Federal Knapsack? i dont feel like spending 300$ for a knap sack when i can spend 4x Less to make one.

Been watching a bunch of YouTube videos from Civil War Digest, 11th OVC, and most of all Company D 2nd USSS.

First Sergeant Koepps videos on painted cloths, and how to make a groundcloth left me wondering:
If you can make a homemade ground cloth, why can't I make my own knapsack and haversack?

I've met First Sergeant Koepp, and he seems to have quite the knowledge on how to make things accurate, or at the very least, accurate looking.

It would be nice to be able to make my own equipment. I know where I can get (heavyweight duck twill) canvas for a decent price. I realize...

Most of the online "how to" links are broken or the company no longer sells them. You might want to check the AC forum they typically have DIY projects. If they do not they might be the ones with their ear to the ground on who is offering what these days.

If you do not find any answers you can try reaching out to the Liberty Rifles to see who offered or is offering kits and maybe get into contact to see if they would do one. A lot of the DIY stuff or patterns and kits is who you know and they do not sell or advertise online.
