Muzzleldrs Krider with Scope

Hi folks.

Just wondering if the Krider, equipped with telescopic sight, was used as a sniper rifle during the ACW. I wish I had a picture of the one I have seen (I know someone who owns one...will try to get a picture some day).

Are there any markings or variations that would indicate it was produced for military use? (e.g. location and type of bayonet lug, inspector marks, etc.).

Krider did produce a small amount of muskets but there is no record (that I know of) that he provided it with a scope. Not to say one wasn't put on it. They did come with long range sites.
