Well I'm in it now. Federal uniform just arrived. It's the C&C Sutlery package deal. Not museum quality by any means, but much better than I expected for the price. Not bad for starting over from scratch.

We were lucky to pick up some used items so they have a bit of wear on them.

Be careful, the hobby can become quite addicting. I started the same as you, but after 30 years I have acquired multiple uniforms, muskets, and equipment for different impressions.

Be careful, the hobby can become quite addicting. I started the same as you, but after 30 years I have acquired multiple uniforms, muskets, and equipment for different impressions.

I'm definitely going to grab up a VRC roundabout, and probably a basic cavalry kit as well. My ebike will have to suffice as a mount until I settle down and buy a farm, though.
