How to start Reenactor

Alas Sir … I am tied to my home and cannot travel or leave home more than two hours. Our 9 month old GSD baby is truly a real b****
and a daddy's girl. It would break my heart to leave her, my two Goldens and old boy mutt. I do hope to shake free of my ennui and post Covid malaise and get to Cedar Creek as a walk on. I am thinking about re-upping into the infantry for my final hurrah! I know very little about this branch except a lot of marching and obliques. Is there like a sharpshooter unit that could deploy in the shade? Dunno? You infantry guys can let this tenderfoot know. I know .,, I know … Papa's reenacting again!

I could join a unit that galvanize and help out wherever I could. I don't think artillery has a chance as I lost my hearing to it. I am an OAP and so horses are out. That leaves infantry and hopefully one with Virginia boys and girls. But in a pinch having a Union jacket. Forgive me Col. Dewayne!
