Such a simple seeming question, but you corrected my wrong thinking. I just assumed they drank it with the grounds in the bottom because of necessity. I like that they didn't. Thanks!

Simply grind the coffee beans and put them in boiling water. Never knew there was a trick to this... Interesting...
